Facilitating Positive Change: The latest evidence-based strategies for service providers to hone their skills and the timing of their interventions to effectively help people make positive changes.


-       Discover why many programs promising change do not work

-       Take an in-depth review of the Transtheoretical Model of Change

-       Identify which of the 6 Stages of Change a person is experiencing

-       Learn the difference between a lapse and a relapse in the change cycle

-       Understand how relapse (failing to change) is a necessary step in achieving  long-term change

-       Time your intervention strategies to match the appropriate stage of change
