Help support WORKSHOP WEST PLAYWRIGHTS' THEATRE by sponsoring TEAM #WRITESofPASSAGE during this Fall 2017 fundraising event.  Team members Janna, Alex, Vern, and Marian will match their wits and endurance against other members of the Edmonton Arts community in the race to achieve the ultimate prize.  We can't tell you what it is, we have to find it first!  But we can tell you that our goal is to fundraise $5000 for our #WRITESofPASSAGE education program in the Edmonton Junior and Senior High Schools.

Northern Light Theatre’s “Amazing Race” Styled Scavenger Hunt & Arts Community Fundraiser Returns for a Fourth Year Saturday, September 9, 2017

Strap in and hold on tight, Northern Light Theatre’s legendary foot race, scavenger hunt, and fundraiser benefitting the entire Edmonton not-for-profit community returns for an unbelievable fourth year. THE BATTLE FOR THE LIMELIGHT is the biggest and most-anticipated event of the theatre season where over twenty-five theatre companies and not-for-profit arts organizations meet to compete for YEG glory and year-long bragging rights.

Founded in 2014 by Northern Light Theatre, THE BATTLE FOR THE LIMELIGHT was conceived as a fundraiser which could benefit the entire theatre community. Registered teams collect pledges and donations for their charity of choice - everything they raise they keep! Participants then race to Edmonton landmarks, find clues, complete challenges, solve puzzles, and battle it out in friendly competition, while kicking off the Edmonton theatre season in this fun-spirited event.
