On Wednesday, May 15, 2019, Charlie Angelakos will receive the Yorktown Humanitarian Award for Community Service at the 20th Annual Tribute Dinner to be held at the beautiful, historic “The Carlu.”

Tribute Dinner Co-chairs Salah Bachir and Jacob Yerex, and Kate and David Daniels invite you to join them in recognizing Charlie for his outstanding leadership in inspiring and supporting Labatt employees as they help those in need and carry forward the legacy of community support established by founder John Kinder Labatt in 1847.

Charlie Angelakos is Vice President, Legal and Corporate Affairs for Labatt Breweries of Canada. Since joining the company more than 14 years ago, Charlie has consistently led Labatt and its people as they embrace the company’s humanitarian vision and its 170+-year tradition of service. Charlie is at the heart of Labatt’s many community initiatives, including disaster relief, employee volunteerism, environmental cleanups and a Foundation that provides support directly to impoverished Canadians. His steadfast devotion to our people and their communities is a benefit to all of us.

Today, Yorktown Family Services continues to be a vital community resource for thousands of children, youth, women, fathers and families in Toronto’s west end. We strive to empower individuals and families to enjoy healthy relationships and community life. We are dedicated to providing community-based, effective, accessible, quality mental health treatment, prevention and out-reach services, and emergency shelter for abused women and children.
