Thanks for visiting my personal fundraising page for the third Christie Lake Climb for Kids adventure!
This is a project designed to raise money for Christie Lake Kids, a wonderful organization that is transforming the lives of lower-income children in Ottawa, Ontario.
Christie Lake Kids runs recreation and leadership programs throughout the year in communities throughout Ottawa and at Christie Lake Camp near Perth, Ontario.
Because of the COVID-19 Pandemic, we are putting our plans on hold for this year. BUT Christie Lake Kids still needs our help and Climb for Kids continues. To keep things going we will be holding a special fundraiser on Saturday, April 18 - Step Up For Kids. You can find more information about this here. You can join us as we climb the stairs for CLK or donate to one of our pages!
This is my first Climb for Kids and I am very excited to be supporting this organization. It’s important to me as a parent to support all children in accessing opportunities to have fun and make friends, while learning the life and leadership skills they need to build a positive and fulfilling future. Christie Lake Kids work hard to support the most vulnerable children in our community, and I am happy to be a part of this great crew of trekkers helping to fund such incredible work!
Our team is taking part in a challenging climb to the top of Mt. Kilimanjaro – elevation, 5895 metres or 19340 ft. We will start our climb at the end of July, 2020. As we train for this climb, we are looking for donations to support Christie Lake Kids. Our goal this year is to raise $40,000 for CLK programs.
Thank you so much for your support!
