Continue Father Joe's legacy in Verdun

Remember Father Joe with your gift to the Helping Others Fund of St. Willibrord Parish. Help us continue his projects for the great benefit of people in need in Verdun: the Christmas Baskets Project, the Food Bank and the Hospitality Centre.

Father Joe served as Pastor of St. Willibrord Parish for 35 years, from 1974 until his retirement in 2009. He was well known, loved and appreciated by many in Verdun, N.D.G. (where he grew up and later served at St. Monica's Parish) and in greater Montreal for the love and attention he gave to everyone in the name of Jesus.

He remained very active in ministry despite being "retired," which is not really a term that applied to Father Joe.

On Dec. 11, Father Joe was called home at the age of 88 years old.

Eternal rest grant unto him, O Lord,
and may perpetual light shine upon him.
May he rest in peace.
