COVID Relief Family Emergency Kits for Manitoba First Nations

First Nations in Manitoba are being hit hard by COVID-19. This fund-raising effort will direct business, corporate and individual donations GlobalMedic a registered Canadian charity that has provided disaster relief and life-saving humanitarian aid since 2002. GlobalMedic will assemble Family Emergency Kits designed to provide families with a holistic solution to deal with multiple problems they face with COVID-19. The kits include basic hygiene supplies such as soap, solar lights, and an assortment of about 20 lbs. of non-perishable food supplies. In partnership with transportation donors such as Air Canada, and logistics support from Shared Value Solutions the Family Emergency Kits will be transported directly to First Nations in need, including Shamattawa which is especially hard hit.
