Mariah's Cake Lab

When I began thinking about baking as a hobby, I never imagined it would turn into this beautiful project. With that said, I am so happy about where it has come and how many of you are willing to join me on this journey. As a pre-med student by day, and baker by [VERY LATE] night, Mariah's Cake Lab is all about combining passion with purpose. I am an avid proponent of contributing to our communities, to our countries and to our world.

Baking and decorating takes a great deal of TIME and ENERGY, especially on your own. It occurred to me that turning this hobby of mine into a business would unfortunately take away from the time I usually spend volunteering. And so, emerged this great idea. I can enjoy my hobby, make other people happy AND donate to health charities (while educating the public) all in one! 

It is so important to me to not only provide monetary assistance, but to also raise awareness about the amazing work these organizations and charities are doing in healthcare and medicine. Therefore, in lieu of finding any cures and doing my own research in an actual lab (although I hope to do this one day too), Mariah's Cake Lab hopes to support research, services, education etc. 

A portion of the proceeds made from any baked goods ordered will be donated to a charity of choice and in your honour to provide you with "indulgence you can feel good about"!
