Bringing Joy to Children of War - The gift of a Playground

All Heroes don’t wear capes!
You are a hero! Thanks for supporting my idea to give play and hope to hundreds of children in Afghanistan. The soon to be constructed playground will be welcomed by teachers, parents and the community. Please know that with the time difference, while you are sleeping children will be doing what they are meant to do - play and laugh.
We’ve got thousands of other little ones waiting for the first chance to slide, swing and teeter. All donations beyond the goal will go to the repairs of existing playgrounds. They are used almost nonstop and wear out. This is actually really good news!

Let's start the new year 2021 by giving the gift of play and joy to children of war.
This is my second project in partnership with PlaygroundBuilders.org, a registered non-profit charity that makes these necessary safe play spaces for children in war-torn areas.  This project will be Playground Builder's 252th playground! :)
Having grown up in Afghanistan during the war, I know first-hand what it's like to not have any safe spaces to play in.  For children devastated by the realities of war, a simple playground provides a sense of safety and comfort through the power of play-based learning.  It also encourages the development of positive social and communication skills, as well as peaceful conflict resolution.
100% of your tax-deductible gift will go directly towards 'building hope and peace through the gift of play'.  A tax receipt will be sent to you instantly. 
We have a great space, the experience of Playground Builders, and the opportunity to make this simple dream come true.  I am personally asking for your help to give these beautiful kids a safe place to play and create wonderful childhood memories.
