On January 2nd, we lost our loving rescue dog Ramen.
We only had a short time with Ramen. In that time, he only broke out his shell a few times. But when he did, we could see his curiosity shine. He loved scratches on the back of his neck, and in the morning he would dance around when it was time to go outside. He loved other dogs and absolutely loved being outside. He got so excited in the snow, our little Texas boy!
We wish we could have given him the life he deserved. We are so saddened by his passing. I was involved in his rescue mission from Texas and instantly fell in love with him. He went through a lot to get to us. We hope that at least in the last few weeks of his life he could feel our love. He went missing for a few days before he passed quickly after a tragic accident. We will spread his ashes somewhere he would love, and his memory will live on.
We want to thank everyone who supported us when he went missing. The list goes on, and we lost track of all of the support messages as we were caught up in trying to find him. The support was overwhelming, and we appreciate the incredible effort everyone put in.
There is nothing we can do to get him back, however we want to honour him by saving more dogs and bringing them to loving homes. Redemption Paws tirelessly works to get abandoned and homeless dogs into the loving arms of Toronto-nians.
Your donations will help change (save) the lives of deserving canines and give them a new start in Canada.
I will match all donations up to $5,000.
Ramen, you were loved by many. May you rest in peace, we miss you.
