Volunteer Cowichan promotes, nurtures, and supports high standards of volunteerism.  We act as a catalyst for community services that enhance the quality of life for aging adults living in the Cowichan Valley.

Volunteering is a fundamental act of citizenship and philanthropy in our society. It is offering time, energy, and skill of one's own free will.

Volunteers have a huge positive impact, virtually every aspect of society including health, education, social services, youth, sports and recreation, culture, the arts and the environment.

We support volunteer initiatives through our Social Prescribing and Better at Home programs to address community needs and concerns.
