Join the fight against cancer.
On average, 617 Canadians will be diagnosed with cancer every day, according to the Canadian Cancer Society, and each diagnosis brings with it a number of challenges to contend with.
Beyond medical care, people diagnosed with cancer and their families often need practical and emotional support throughout their diagnosis, treatment, and recovery. Canadian charities help ease this burden.
Your gift to the Confronting Cancer Together Fund will support a wide range of critical services that Canadian charities offer to patients, survivors, and their families throughout their cancer journey. It can provide counselling and support groups for patients and their families as they deal with the uncertainty and stress as well as opportunities for fun and distraction from their cancer journey. It can also help fund healing and recovery centres for those who cannot recover in their homes, or practical daily living support including childcare, respite services, meal delivery, and much more.
Your donation will be pooled with gifts of others like you to help achieve wide-reaching effects and make a real impact. Donate today and help those in need. Plus, get an official charitable tax receipt to qualify for tax credits!
What makes up the Confronting Cancer Together Fund?
The CanadaHelps Cancer Fund includes over 150 registered charities offering a support system for people with cancer.
The charities in this Fund are selected through an algorithmic approach, taking the charity’s area of focus, mission, and description into account.
To ensure donations reach charities easily and efficiently, charities must be one of the more than 20,000 charities registered to receive funds electronically from CanadaHelps. Funds will be transferred quarterly, subject to a minimum of $10 per charity. We regularly update the list of charities in this Fund.
