Statement of Purpose and Vision

As the congregation of Zion United Church we will strive:

 to be STRONG in organizational structure and to be

COMMITTED to a full congregational life;

 to be FAITHFUL to this commitment and to SUPPORT the growth

of this congregation;

 to be DEDICATED in supporting our Minister and to be willing to

SHARE in the ministry at Zion;

 to be GENEROUS in sharing our talents and resources so that worship is creative, special and that programs for all ages are meaningful;

 to be READY to reach out beyond Zion, responding to the needs of

others;

 to be DILIGENT in the ongoing process of examining Zion’s place in God’s world as we seek to do God’s will through Jesus Christ.

Welcome:

Zion United Church is a congregation of The United Church of Canada. We are located at 423 Main St. N., Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan.  Our congregation of over 200 families, has served our city for over 100 years. Zion is a designated heritage building with beautiful architecture.

The main sanctuary has seating capacity of approximately 600 people including the balcony area and our facility is wheel-chair accessible. We have a wonderful talented Choir, an organists/music director that provides high calibre music program for Zion and works well with all the music groups. We have a vibrant Sunday School program and a active UCW Group that meets monthly.
