Breast Cancer Action is a local, community-base and survivor-driven organizations dedicated to enhancing the quality of life for breast cancer patients and survivors through practical help, emotional support and education.
About BREAST CANCER ACTION SENSIBILISATION AU CANCER DU SEIN
Founded in 1992, Breast Cancer Action is a post-diagnosis support and resource centre meeting the needs of those living with, or affected by breast cancer in our community.
As a survivor-directed charitable organization, Breast Cancer Action offers active BCA members access to a variety of core programs and client services including exercise programs, peer support & group support programs, pre-operative presentations delivered with our partners, lymphedema educational outreach workshops and The Kelly Project, which offers women a post-operative camisole at no cost.
Whether it is at the time of diagnosis, during treatment or while navigating the challenging path to recovery, Breast Cancer Action is there for our members and their families every step of the way. Our dedicated team of staff & volunteers are available to listen and lend support and practical resources. We want to empower those diagnosed with breast cancer to make informed decisions.
