Since 1994, the Boys and Girls Clubs of the Foothills (operating as BGC Southern Alberta) programs have expanded substantially.  Growing from a single location in Black Diamond to multiple locations across southern Alberta, BGC Southern Alberta (BGCSA) continues to provide support to hundreds of local children and youth. 

BGCSA currently provides programs and services for hundreds of children and youth, newborn - 18 years of age.  Programs include but are not limited to licensed Early Learning and Childcare Centres (daycares), KinderCare, licensed Out of School Care programs, summer and school break programs, breakfast programs, food security programs, youth resource centres, youth employment and leadership opportunities for young people. 

Currently, BGC Southern Alberta offers programming across southern Alberta including:

-Diamond Valley (formerly the Towns of Black Diamond and Turner Valley),

-High River,

-Foothills County,

-Nanton,

-MD of Willow Creek,

-Vulcan,

-Vulcan County
