Help Us Help 

Founded in 1993, Help Us Help (formerly known as Dopomoha Ukraini – Aid Ukraine) is a federally registered Canadian charitable organization, focused on humanitarian aid and educational projects in Ukraine and in Canada. In the 30 years since being founded, the organization has delivered more than $28 million dollars in charitable aid to projects and organizations engaged in the areas of humanitarian aid, education, literacy, arts and culture, social work, civil society, and more. In response to the consequences of the 2014 Ukrainian Revolution of Dignity, Euromaidan, Help Us Help expanded its charitable initiatives to include psychological training, direct support, and post-combat humanitarian assistance to veterans and their families.

On February 24, 2022, when Vladimir Putin invaded Ukraine, Help Us Help decided to suspend its regular programming to answer the needs of the victims of the war. Due to the long-scale invasion, regular programming has resumed alongside these initiatives in 2023.

In 2022, Help Us Help aided over 40,000 victims of war with humanitarian aid, medical supplies, psychological support, and financial/relocation support.

In 2021, Help Us Help was fortunate to receive a $10 million endowment fund to establish the "Temerty Endowment Fund", a leadership gift of the Silver Lining Campaign. The Endowment will provide funds for administering humanitarian aid, anti-human trafficking initiatives, educational projects, mental health support and life-skills development workshops delivered primarily to children in Ukraine. In addition, investment returns will be used to cover administration fees.
