The mission of the Alberta Golf Foundation is to assist students who are connected to the Alberta golf community by providing scholarships that helps alleviate the financial challenges of post-secondary education. Our goal is to have golf remain a valued part of their future.
Every August, the Alberta Golf Foundation awards approximately $75,000 in scholarship funding to more than 40 recipients through funds raised from from individuals and corporations.
Applicants must be residents of Alberta and attending a post-secondary program (which could be outside the province). There are no golfing ability requirements for most of the scholarships being offered, and recipients are selected based on their academic standing and financial need.
