Bezulu International exists to transform an entire generation of orphaned and vulnerable children in the precious nation of Eswatini. 

Home to the Swazi people, Eswatini is a small African nation nestled between South Africa and Mozambique. 

Bezulu is a Siswati word that translates to "Of Heaven." It is our dream to see spiritual and physical healing, restored communities and strong families become the reality for the Swazi people. 

While so much progress has been made over the last 25 years, Eswatini still maintains the highest HIV rate in the world, and has one of the shortest life expectancy rates. More than 70% of children under the age of five are Orphaned or Vulnerable (OVC) children. 

This is a crisis that compels us to act. 

Through a passionate community of supporters here in Canada, and a dedicated team on the ground in Eswatini, there is a massive opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of these children. 

Every child in Eswatini deserves a loving home, to be raised in a safe, supportive environment. That is where our dream begins, but not where it ends. We know that today's children will become tomorrow's leaders. Through our child care programs, we are committed to raising up powerful men and women of integrity who will continue the work of transforming this small but mighty African nation. 

As our cornerstone program, your dollars will directly fund efforts to support the care of more than 400 children in direct care, as provided by 130 incredible caregivers and even more support staff. 

In addition to caring for the most vulnerable children through full-time care, we also support in-community care through our holistic community development program. Our long-term vision is to see community care sites established within walking distance of every rural orphaned and vulnerable child in the country. We know we can put hope within reach of every child.
