Prior to his passing, Brad had requested assistance for his addiction but refused the support he was offered as it was not geared for youth and young adults. Brad stated, “I can’t discuss my issues in a group of old men that remind me of my father if my father is the root of my issues”  

 In May of 2018, approximately 18 like-minded people came together to serve on the board of directors for Brad’s Place with a common goal of providing the services to youth and young adults  that were lacking when Brad was looking for help.

Brad's Place provides youth and young adults an opportunity to seek therapeutic guidance to combat their drug and alcohol addiction within the Georgian Triangle Area. Clients have an opportunity to learn positive coping strategies for the stressors in their lives while obtaining a positive supportive relationship with their loved ones and trained Addiction Specialists. Brad's Place offers family members and loved ones an opportunity to be involved in every aspect of the clients care as well as gain the knowledge and skills to become a positive support.
