Brandon's Food for Thought Program, now heading into it's 28th year, provides nutritious breakfasts, snacks, and lunches to students in 22 schools across Brandon, Alexander, and Shilo, ensuring no child attends school hungry. In 2024-25, our program served over 287,000 meals or 1599 every single school day - a record 51% increase - helping address rising food insecurity that affects 1 in 5 Canadian children.  Funded by community partners, charities, corporate donors, businesses, individuals, and grants, and purchasing locally whenever possible, our program improves learning and well-being, and fosters strong families.  "More than food -  it's about creating a caring environment where every child feels supported and ready to learn" - K-Grade 12 School; "Thanks to Food for Thought, no child in our school has to go hungry.  Healthy options make a huge difference." - K- Grade 8 School     Fueling minds, one meal at a time
