About BRIDGES SOCIAL DEVELOPMENT
We support young people to be catalysts for change in their lives. We currently work by invitation alongside our neighbours in the Siksika and Stoney Nakoda First Nations, and we also support youth transitioning to Calgary. Each year we interact with and support over 200 youth as they explore the change they want to create in the world and take steps to achieving that change.
Regardless of where and with whom we find ourselves working as an organization, the capacity building model by which we operate stays the same: focus on building relationships, respond to invitations, understand the needs of youth, and co-design in partnership. The outcome: youths' ability to take care of themselves and their communities is strengthened.
