Experience what it’s like to “eat like a kid” for a great cause!

Collins Barrow Calgary is proudly partnering with Brown Bagging for Calgary Kids (BB4CK), a registered charity providing free, healthy lunches to 3800 kids daily in Calgary schools, who would otherwise go hungry.

To raise funds for this great organization, we’re selling sample lunches for $5 that have been prepared by students from SAIT, Mount Royal and U of C.  All funds raised go directly to BB4CK.

Kindly place your orders in advance of our event on or before January 5, 2018 (Monetary donations are also warmly welcomed!)

What’s on the menu? A sandwich, a snack, a piece of fruit and a drink.

Lunches are available for $5 each. Charitable tax receipts will be issued only for separate monetary donations in excess of $25.

We will personally deliver lunches to offices within the downtown Calgary core for orders of any size!

Delivery is available to offices outside of the downtown Calgary core for orders of more than 50 lunches or for monetary donations of more than $500 (Lunch with each donation can be requested).  We will be in touch once your order is placed, so please ensure you include the best contact information when you place your order.

Pick-up at the University of Calgary downtown campus is also available for orders of any size.

À propos de cet organisme

Through the work of community groups and volunteers, BB4CK provides lunches for approximately 3800 kids each school day. Lunches are prepared in the organization’s main kitchen and in various other locations by community groups including retirees, parent groups and local businesses. Nourishment is available to any young person who arrives at school without enough to eat. BB4CK works with school staff members to identify needs and to plan how best to make sure hungry students get the nutrition required to think clearly and learn. By enabling better education outcomes, BB4CK gives students a hand up, not just a handout.
