Join us for a special canoe-themed evening of music, art, food and prizes at Camp Outlook’s Winter 2018 Fundraiser!

Our goal is to raise funds for equipment renewal. We need new camping gear and our priority is to fund the purchase of new tents. Outlook staffers work minor miracles to keep our fleet of canoes afloat year after year, and maintain stoves, packs, and other vital equipment in working condition. But our tents are in urgent need of replacement and that's why we're launching this appeal.

Camp Outlook has been transforming the lives of Kingston youth through canoe trips and outdoor expeditions since 1970. It’s a unique local institution, run entirely by volunteers and deeply connected to the wider Kingston community.

Come raise a glass with the people who keep Outlook going year after year – our generous donors, our phenomenal staff and our many supporters in Kingston and beyond.

Keep posted on the details on the facebook event page.

À propos de cet organisme

Camp Outlook is an independent, community based, nonprofit, charitable organization, staffed entirely by volunteers. We believe strongly in the worth and potential of all youth, the power of experiential learning, and the therapeutic value of wilderness tripping. Our mission is to provide young people a chance to develop their sense of self worth, inner strength, and capacity to succeed. To do this we provide youth of all genders, ages 13 to 17, with the opportunity to experience wilderness camping on summer backcountry canoe trips and fall/winter hiking trips. We use the therapeutic nature of wilderness tripping to provide an environment that allows them to respond to nature’s challenges and learn about their own abilities in a team while being supported by trained staff. Teamwork and cooperation are what allows our trips to run smoothly; our trip groups often come back from their adventure as a strong community.
