Join GivingTuesday Canada for an afternoon discussion featuring Asha Curran, Chief Innovation Officer and Director of the Belfer Center for Innovation & Social Impact at the 92nd Street Y. In preparation for GivingTuesday 2017 happening on Tuesday, November 28th, Asha will discuss the global GivingTuesday movement and how charities, community leaders, businesses, citizens and communities can get involved.

What is GivingTuesday? Celebrated annually on the Tuesday following Black Friday and Cyber Monday, GivingTuesday is a day dedicated to giving back. After Black Friday and Cyber Monday—two great days for the global economy—GivingTuesday encourages people around the world to give back by making a financial donation, volunteering, donating food, or supporting their favourite charitable cause in whichever way they choose. Now a global giving movement, the movement was celebrated in 98 countries and millions of dollars are raised every year on GivingTuesday. Read more about last year’s impact in Canada linked here.

P.S. Join the conversation online throughout the event using the hashtag #GivingTuesdayCA and share your GivingTuesday plans!
