The Canadian Hard of Hearing Association - Edmonton Branch is a non-profit charitable organization that is run for and by persons who are hard of hearing.

We provide programs a variety of programs in the Greater Edmonton area such as Your Third Ear Worshops, Speechreading Drop-In-Practice, Speechreading & Coping Skill classes, and free Hospital Kits for hard of hearing persons requiring short term of long term medical care (instruction is provided to staff on care and support for Hard of hearing)

Advocacy and increasing awareness is vital to full inclusion for Hard of Hearing. Working with other agencies, such as Edmonton Seniors Coordination Council, Airport Authorities, Edmonton Chamber of Volunteer Organizations, and Voice for Persons with Disabilities are agencies that provides opportunities to demonstrate and promote communication and need for changes in how to include hard of hearing persons at events and public facilities.
