CMHA is offering a spring Living Life to the Full course. Attend 8 – 90 minute sessions and learn how to worry less, be happier and feel better right away. We will provide some light refreshments and snacks.

This course will provide you with the tools to:

  • reduce stress and boost mood
  • improve motivation and problem solving skills
  • change unhelpful thoughts and behaviours

Living Life to The Full, features eight “little workbooks” that outline a set of tools that allow participants to face and overcome the problems that are bothering them. The tools are designed to help people experiencing depression or anxiety, but they go beyond that – they work for anyone seeking to worry less and live a happier life, starting now.  Living Life to the Full is for everyone. We all have ups and downs, and now there’s a way to deal with the downs and turn them back into ups that’s accessible, easy , and it’s even fun to do.

Dr. Chris Williams, a psychiatrist and professor at the University of Glasgow, developed the program, which is based on Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT). At a National level CMHA branches across Canada having been running Living Life to the Full courses for over 4 years by trained facilitators.

Thanks to Ride Don’t Hide 2018 funds, CMHA is pleased to be able to reduce the cost of the course from $185 to $40, making it more accessible to anyone who wants to take the course.

Course Start date: April 10th - May 29th 2019 from 7pm-8:30pm (8 weekly Wednesday evening sessions).
