Our Mission
The Cape Breton Regional Hospital Foundation (CBRHF) is a registered charity responsible for raising funds to strengthen healthcare in Cape Breton.
Built to answer the dream of the community, the first mission of the CBRHF was to lobby for a regional centre for health, which became a reality as the Cape Breton Regional Hospital.
One of only three healthcare foundations in Atlantic Canada nationally accredited by Imagine Canada, our Foundation and donors have raised more than $55 million to fund priority healthcare needs at the Cape Breton Regional Hospital and beyond.
Since 1985, the CBRHF has been fulfilling its mission to improve the health and well-being of our Cape Breton Community - both big and small - by purchasing vital equipment, funding patient programming, providing funds for research and innovation and more.
