Our Mission

At Cares, we recognize that many people in our community are struggling to cope with issues in their life and our mandate is to respond to that need by offering the highest quality of professional counselling services at affordable rates.

On of our core values at Cares is the view that all people are of equal value, regardless of their situation or difficulty. As such, it is a great privilege to be able to provide the services we do to those who need them.

And, while each counselling session costs us approximately $135.00, we subsidize that fee to ensure that people will not be turned away due to cost. To offset this difference, we rely on the generous financial support from individuals and businesses in our community.

We greatly value donations of all amounts and appreciate your partnering with us in this way. Also, because we are charitable organization, your donations are tax-deductible.

About Cares Counselling Society

Cares Counselling Society is a community based counselling centre located in Abbotsford, BC.

Since 1992, Cares has provided professional counselling services to thousands of individuals, couples, and families in our community at subsidized rates.

Our professional staff of Masters-Level therapists are fully certified with a recognized therapeutic association in British Columbia.

We provide private and confidential counselling for numerous concerns, including
