Since 1991, Cascade Christian (previously Valley Christian and MEI Chilliwack) has provided Chilliwack parents with a Christ-centered education for their children. Our mission is to equip our students with a Biblical worldview, and a personal faith in Christ, so that they become a generation which impacts our community and the world around them. We are seeing this vision grow and expand.
BACKGROUND
2016, while considering whether the current campus site could provide Cascade a long term home, the board debated moving into a facility that had no gymnasium. It was decided at the time that in order to move ahead with the purchase, we needed (along with other conditions) a plan whereby we could add a gymnasium to the site within five years. With God’s provision of a substantial appreciation in the value of the property, along with favourable lending terms, we now stand ready to step forward in faith, and complete the campus that will serve as our long term home.
COMPLETE THE DREAM
Cascade Christian School is in its fourth year in our new Yale Road campus. We completed the purchase of the property in December 2018, with Midtown Church as co-owners. Our attention has since turned to the facility needs anticipated when we first moved in – namely, classroom expansions for expanded enrollment, and a gymnasium. With an expected budget of $3 million and construction slated to begin soon, the Cascade Christian School Board is launching a pledge drive to fund the building project and minimize our borrowing requirements.
Giving Policy - You may specifically designate funds understanding that once a program or project has been met or cannot be completed for any reason determined by the school, the remaining contributions will be used where needed most.
