Since 1908, Catholic Missions In Canada (CMIC) is a charity raising funds to help promote and extend the Catholic Faith in dioceses and eparchies with insufficient funds to subsidize their mission areas.

We offer three campaigns: fundraising donations through various financial vehicles; awareness of the mission status of Canadian Catholic dioceses and eparchies; and teaching through subsidizing seminarians and making presentations in primary and secondary Catholic schools. People who interact with our organisation are our donors, bishops who apply for grants, and Catholic students. We are not aware of another Catholic charity funding Canadian missions in this way. CMIC is overseen by a Board of Governors with Management running day-to-day operations.

Catholic Missions In Canada (CMIC) is a nonprofit corporation that keeps the Catholic Faith alive in remote Canada by subsidizing bishops who do not have sufficient resources to sustain their mission areas. We ask for donations through awareness and fundraising campaigns to support the Catholic dioceses and eparchies. Mission areas usually have too few people to be self-sustaining. Sometimes the only way to get there is by boat or plane.
