Change Her World is focused on empowering girls and women in the developing world through education. Founded in 2010 by Linda Willis and Carol Hamilton, this charity is actively involved in impacting the lives of girls and women in Northern Malawi. Students are supported by Change Her World from nursery school to university. In addition to providing school fees and school uniforms, support is also provided to local women through income generating activities including provision of goats and pigs. Elderly vulnerable women in the communities are also assisted with basic life necessities such as food, mosquito nets, mattresses, lamps and blankets. In 2023, the CHW Community Library was opened to provide opportunities for education to larger numbers of girls and women as well as community members.
