Our Mission
Our mission is to provide access to transportation for residents of Charlotte County, N.B.,Canada, that is dependable, courteous, safe, efficient, inclusive and sensitive to the needs of all individuals and respectful of the privacy of all concerned.
About CHARLOTTE DIAL A RIDE
Research has clearly demonstrated the impact that access to transportation has on the health, wellness and overall quality of life of people. This is especially true for those who are isolated and vulnerable in rural communities.
The Charlotte County Alternative Transportation (CCATA) is a volunteer-based transportation system providing disadvantaged and/or disabled residents of Charlotte County, New Brunswick the dignity of mobility.
Friendly, safe, door-to-door transportation services are provided making it possible for people to make medical appointments, access places of employment, do grocery shopping and even visit friends.
These services are provided by a team of volunteer drivers who use their own vehicles and are compensated only for the cost of gas.
Support for this organization would significantly enhance the lives of many low-income seniors, families, people with disabilities, and people with serious illnesses throughout Charlotte County, New Brunswick.
