Since 1984 

Dedicated to Preserving, presenting, documenting, researching and interpreting information, records and objects of scientific, educational, historical and cultural value associated with the Shuswap area of British Columbia.  To make available such objectives to the public for the purpose of education and research. To create understanding and acceptance of the culture and history of the three Indigenous First Nations bands of the geographical area. Namely Adams Lake Indian Band, Little Shuswap Indian Band and the Nesconlith Indian Band.

The Museum  will provide an interpretation of its collection through exhibits, education programs and publications. 

The Museum provides a venue for the Arts culture to gather, create and sell their works through classes workshops and the gallery of works.
