A trusted placed for children, youth, and caregivers, to find mental health support and build brighter futures.
We offer a wide range of confidential, free counselling services across Hastings and Prince Edward counties which include Belleville, Trenton, Picton, Madoc and Bancroft. Services are arranged to best meet your needs.
Crisis Support
Crisis support services are immediate, time-limited services, delivered in response to crisis or an urgent situation as assessed by a mental health professional that places the child/youth or others at serious risk of harm.
Available Monday - Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

Counselling Services
We provide both short-term (up to six sessions) as well as longer term counselling for children and youth 0-18 and their families. All services are free and confidential.
Honeywell House
Live-In Assessment and Stabilization DBT program is specifically designed to work with youth (12-17 yrs, males/females/LGTBQ) who want to get control over their behaviours relating to self-harm, suicidal ideation, and/or suicide attempts and to work on making a life worth living. Placement at Honeywell House can last from 1-3 months based upon a comprehensive clinical assessment and the Individual Treatment Plan of each youth and their family.
Youth Mental Health Court Worker
The Youth Mental Health Court Worker provides support to youth involved in the Youth Justice System (age 12 to 17 years at the time of charge) who struggle with their mental health. The worker will provide the youth with support during the court process and will assist the youth in connecting to local services that may be helpful to them.

CMHS offers various groups based on demand and interest.
