À propos

Building Hope in Namibia

Mission: To nourish and protect orphaned and vulnerable children in Namibia

Vision: A thriving San community where every child is safe, supported, and empowered to dream.

HIV, malaria and other socioeconomic challenges have left many children in Namibia orphaned and at risk, particularly within the San community, which is one of the most underserved in the country. These children face extreme poverty, hunger and isolation.

Children's Sanctuary Namibia Society (CSNS) is working closely with the San community to change this situation. We stand as a beacon of hope for hundreds of vulnerable children in the Omaheke Region. With government recognition and a 4.5-hectare facility in Drimiopsis, we provide a safe home, education, and essential care to those in need.

Who do we support?

Mother House: 19 children receiving full-time care.

Soup Kitchen: 230–250 meals served per feed twice a week                        We also provide emotional support and are building additional family units to expand our sanctuary, which offers:

Nutritious food ( through sustainable gardens )

Safe shelter

Basic healthcare

Access to education ( including an afternoon tutoring program)

 Why Your Support Matters

$10 supplies seeds for our vegetable gardens.

$20 feeds a child for a week.

$50 helps us buy bricks for the expansion of our Sanctuary.

$100 provides school supplies and medical care.

Every donation helps us build a future of dignity and hope. Together, we can make the Sanctuary a reality.

Testimonial from one of the children:

"My name is Danger G. I am staying at the Children’s Sanctuary Namibia since 2022. Before I came here I started work. My mother is not working. I don’t know where my father is. I went to school on a hungry stomach, and to sleep on a hungry stomach. Only way to survive was (with) homeless kids. Now I am happy. I sleep on my own here. I am eating three times a day and I love all of the peoples here."

Zuma’s Quiet Devotion

“God asked me to look after the many children who have no home.” — Zuma, CSN Gardener Zuma’s hands tend to more than just soil.
