The Circle of Hearts Family Support Network is a non-profit children’s charity created to assist the families of children from Manitoba, Nunavut and parts of NW Ontario and Eastern Saskatchewan with congenital or acquired heart defects. Through support, social events, education programs, and in-hospital aids, we strive to provide meaningful services to those affected children and families.

There are approximately 6000 children who are seen at Winnipeg’s Variety Children’s Heart Centre (VCHC) every year, ranging from prenatal to 18 year-old patients transitioning to adult cardiology. Thus, in the year 2000, an external family support network was created by a group of heart parents from VCHC, wanting to assist as many of their fellow cardiac families as possible – however and where-ever needed.
