We are working to preserve the ecological health and water supply of Columbia Lake for present and future generations through scientific investigation, collaboration, and outreach. 

Our purposes are to:

1. Advance education by conducting research relating to the Columbia Lake water system and to disseminate the results of such research to the public;
2. Educate and increase the public's understanding of Columbia Lake's ecosystem and its importance by developing and providing programs and activities on the protection and improvement of water quality, water quantity and the health of Columbia Lake's ecosystem;
3. Protect the environment for the benefit of the public by organizing or participating in environmental projects designed to preserve and protect Columbia Lake’s flora and fauna, as well as the overall health of the lake and its related water systems.
