CPBF is a parent-led charitable organization. As parents of children born preterm, we know how hard it is not to just adjust to the reality of life in the NICU, but also in how to deal with the long-term impact of prematurity on our children, on ourselves, and on our families.

We want families of premature babies to know they are not alone. We support families every step of the way – before, during, and after their NICU stays – to help create brighter futures for these babies and their families

We provide peer support to NICU families, create educational resources for clinicians and families, raise awareness of the impact of prematurity on individuals and on our society, coordinate national events, and assist neonatal intensive care units across the country with their family support programs. Everything we produce is evidence-based, in collaboration with researchers and clinicians. 

We welcome support from parents, families, clinicians ... anyone who has been touched by prematurity or who understands how important it is to give our most vulnerable citizens the help they need when they most need it.
