Established in 2000 as the Charitable arm of Civida, Edmonton's largest affordable housing provider and management body. Civida currently provides homes to over 15,000 Edmontonians while also supporting and empowering pathways out of poverty. Civida works closely with our federal, provincial, and municipal government partners to meet our community's needs.

Civida Housing Foundation provides financial and volunteer support to increase Civida's capacity while developing partnerships and funding opportunities to offset gaps and improve the inventory of affordable housing in the Edmonton region.  

With a Civida affordable housing priority list (waitlist) of over 9,000 families, our region's need for affordable housing grows daily.
