Meet and mingle with staff and supporters of Edmonton’s Food Bank at our Annual Harvest Luncheon. Hosted by CISN’s Matt Debeurs, we will have an inspiring speech from Oilers CEO Bob Nicholson. Try your luck in the Safeway Cans Lottery or buy something during the live auction. All the proceeds go to support our mission to help feed those in need in Edmonton!

Tickets are $50 each (tax receipt available for $20) or $360 for a table of 8 (tax receipt available for $160). Call Edmonton’s Food Bank Special Events at 780.425.2133 for tickets or more information.

We will be in need of 6 to 8 volunteers to welcome guests to the Harvest Luncheon and help them get seated before the luncheon.  Volunteers will also assist with the Cans Lottery Prize pick ups at the end of the luncheon.

To be stewards in the collection of surplus and donated food for the effective distribution, free of charge, to people in need in our community while seeking solutions to the causes of hunger. Each month, over 22,000 people receive food hampers from Edmonton’s Food Bank. The Food Bank also distributes food to more than 500,000 meals and snacks each month through more than 250 agencies, churches or food depots with which we are affiliated. Approximately 40 percent of clients served are children under 18.
