Notre Mission
The Mission of the Eganville & District Senior Citizens' Needs Association is to provide activities, services and support to seniors, to enable them to remain in their own homes and to maintain a healthy active lifestyle within their community, thereby enhancing the quality of life of seniors in the municipalities of Bonnechere Valley, North Algona/Wilberforce, the Bromely portion of Admaston/Bromley and the Algonquins of Pikwakanagan.
À propos de nous
Our Association is two-part. We offer Home Support Services and activities for Seniors who want to live independently in their own homes. Our Board of Directors is made up of 22 Senior Citizens who are dedicated to enhancing the quality of life of the elderly.
We support seniors by offering a wide variety of Home Support services including Meals On Wheels, Telephone Assurance, Diners' Club, Transportation, Frozen Meals, Home Maintenance, help with their Income Tax, and Information and Referral.
Believing that the more active an individual is the healthier they will be, we offer many social and educational activities. These include Bridge, Bowling, Euchre, Golf, Painting, Shuffleboard, Tai Chi, Walking, Bus trips, Craft Workshops and Ceramics. All of these activities are coordinated by volunteers. In fact, we have 200+ volunteers that are the heart of our Association and are what make our Services and Activities so successful.
