About EPILEPSY OTTAWA

For over 25 years, Epilepsy Ottawa has been providing information, referral, peer support and social opportunities for those living with epilepsy in the Ottawa region, including the wider rural communities. We also work to educate the community and raise awareness about epilepsy.

More than 8,100 people in the area supported by Epilepsy Ottawa have been diagnosed with epilepsy. The effect of an epilepsy diagnosis goes beyond the individual; it impacts the entire family.

Our Mission

Epilepsy Ottawa is a not-for-profit, charitable agency dedicated to improving the quality of life for those living with epilepsy or seizure disorders and those closest to them, through support services, education, advocacy, and on-going public awareness.

Our Vision

Creating a community where persons affected by epilepsy or seizure disorders are empowered and supported to live life to the fullest, free of stigma and barriers.
