First Unitarian Church of Victoria is a welcoming community, energised by the diversity of beliefs, identity and experience that each person brings. The church Foundation was established to promote the principles and values of the Church and the growth of the Unitarian religion on Vancouver Island by supporting church programs within the congregation and the broader community including the relief of poverty, promotion of human rights and preservation of a sustainable environment.

Annually the Foundation provides bursaries to First Nations students in health and trades programs at Camosun College. In addition, grants have been provided to environmental projects within and beyond the Church, and to enhance Church music programs.

Donations to the First Unitarian Church of Victoria Foundation will be held by the Victoria Foundation and income will be used annually to further the foundation's objectives. Contributions in excess of $20,000 may be directed to general areas of concern specified by the donor.
