Our mission is to build from the heritage of our religious experience and the living truths of the world a cohesive set of ethical and spiritual values and to make those values live.

We covenant: to enact social justice and to love our planet, to accept and care for each other, to inspire and guide people of all ages, and to be a source of joy, challenge, serenity and compassion.

Enriched by our diversity and needful of one another, we unite to sustain this place of beauty, hope, healing and celebration.

We are a Welcoming Congregation affiliated with the Canadian Unitarian Council and the Unitarian Universalist Association.

About FIRST UNITARIAN UNIVERSALIST CHURCH OF WINNIPEG INC

We are a vibrant, intentionally-inclusive community, and welcome you regardless of gender identity, economic circumstance, sexual orientation, age, race, ethnicity, or national origin. In the words of Francis David, one of our Transylvanian forebears of the 16th century, we believe that we "need not think alike to love alike." Thus we join in the spirit of beloved community to seek truth in love and to make justice live on this, our earth.

Our Sunday services are held year-round, from 10:30 a.m. until 11:30 a.m., followed by refreshments and conversation.

Throughout the service, there is a dynamic program of Religious Exploration for children and youth, and childcare is available as well.
