Our Mission

To provide adults who are experiencing mental health and/or addiction recovery challenges with caring support and day programs to help them move forward in healthy living. We create a comfortable and safe space for individuals to interact with each other and with our friendly team.

Our principle values are compassion, connection, collaboration, belonging, respect, resilience, and recovery. We also provide support groups for the friends, families, and co-workers who help individuals with mental health/addiction issues.

At our Mental Health location (136 E Hirst Ave.), we currently serve more than 100 adults each month. Clients can self-refer. We provide more than 25 programs each week in education, recreation and expressive therapies to encourage holistic wellness. We are open 6 days each week: Monday, Tuesday, Friday (10:00-7:30 with lunches for $2.50 and dinners for $3) and Tuesday, Wednesday, Saturday (10:00-5:00 with lunches for $2.50). All of our other services are provided at no cost to our clients.

Although we receive core funding from Island Health (about 50% of our total revenues), we also rely heavily on community donations and grants. We have worked hard to develop strong relationships with local businesses, organizations and individuals within our community, and we appreciate all support we receive.
