Fraser House offers counselling and prevention services in the area of substance use and addictions.  We have an adult program, a youth program, a rural connections program and a school based prevention program. In addition to our counselling team,  we are currently funding a half time counselling position through fundraised donations.  This has helped us tremendously in being able to continue to provide timely service and robust programming.  We also offer services for family members who have been affected by a loved one's substance use.  Partners and spouses seek help as well as parents who are concerned about their teen who is using alcohol and/or other drugs. We also offer a group for children aged 9-12 who have been affected by a family member's addiction.  We have a prevention specialist who is in the schools teaching children and youth from grade 4 through 12 about decision making, drug information, building resilience and self-esteem.  Our rural connections program is offered to clients who often do not have access to transportation to come to our office. 

Fraser House Society was formed in 1967 and has been offering services in the area of substance use and addictions for over 35 years.  We are a solid, well respected organization in the community striving to meet the needs of all of our clients.
