Fresh Start is a non profit, charitable organization that was established in 1999. Fresh Start seeks to actively emulate God's love, peace and justice to struggling children, youth and families in, and around, the Swift Current community.  Our desire for each individual we encounter, is for them to experience a "Fresh Start" in some way.

Fresh Start offers youth meaningful alternatives through education, mentoring/support, housing, and professional counselling. Service is tailored to meet the unique, specific needs of the individual accessing service. 

The Family Services Division of Fresh Start works to equip, empower, and enhance the well-being of families.  Through in-home services, one on one education, and parenting classes, our team teaches new skills, models new behaviours and offers relevant resources to strengthen the family unit. 

“EnRoute …. Rapid Access Counselling” is Fresh Start’s latest initiative. Our counselling service is readily available to anyone, of any age, in any situation. The counselling sessions are offered on a first-come, first-served basis with no cost to user.
