The Friends of the Mayerthorpe Public Library Society fundraise and advocate for the Mayerthorpe Public Library. MPL serves not only the Town of Mayerthorpe, but also parts of the surrounding Lac Ste. Anne and Woodlands counties. The only free public facility in the community, it is the source of numerous programs, and the only place that residents and visitors have access to public computers and high speed Internet via the SuperNet. The library board, staff and volunteers are committed to providing support without discrimination to all members of the community. Miles away from many vital services and opportunities available in larger centers, the library is the hub of the community. MPL provides programs, cultural experiences and services. The Friends of the Library are proud to support MPL and we invite you to join us!
