The Friends of the Vancouver Public Library is a community of library lovers who volunteer, fundraise, and advocate in support of the Vancouver Public Library.

With the help of members, donors and volunteers we fund special programs and collections at VPL. Since 1995 Friends of the VPL has funded dozens of programs including Writer in Residence, Ink Magazine, Writing and Book Camp, Digital and Literacy Materials for Children and Teens Services, Revitalization of spaces, equipment and Furniture purchases. Our volunteers are passionate about how libraries form strong communities and work hard to help VPL become even better, more inclusive and relevant every day.
