About FUTUREWATCH ENVIRONMENT AND DEVELOPMENT EDUCATION PARTNERS
Futurewatch is a nonprofit charitable organization founded in 1993. We foster the development of innovative, collaborative partnerships among diverse stakeholders in Canada and overseas.
In Canada, we work cooperatively with local partners to identify community priorities and establish programs that involve people most affected by environmental issues. Our programs incorporate education and environmental programs that are geared to people from diverse ethnic backgrounds. FutureWatch brings people Canada's diverse population together around innovative environmental initiatives and community projects. Our international programs are geared towards protecting human rights and the environment. They are achieved throughout the implementation of grass-root projects in Latin America in areas of community development, food security, and technology transfers. We work with local partners and disadvantaged communities to foster climate change resilience and sustainability.
