GALI - the Galiano Affordable Living Initiative - is a community-led charitable organization working to build and manage long-term affordable rental housing on Galiano Island. We’re currently developing two crucial projects: Thuthiqut Hulelum’, a 20-home clustered community at 280 Georgeson Bay Road in partnership with the CRD, and the Georgia View Project, which will add 12 more affordable homes for island residents, in partnership with GIGARHS - Gulf Islands Galisle Affordable Rental Housing Society.
With housing pressures threatening Galiano’s sustainability, GALI is working to provide real, lasting solutions - homes that stay affordable in perpetuity. Your support helps us ensure that the people who make Galiano vibrant can continue to live, work, and thrive here.
